We offer training year-round in terms of elite development through our partnership with Hockey Proper, though our  tournaments will be in the Spring/Summer.  This means you can freely participate in other leagues or travel programs, or even other travel sports, then join the Rattlers for  incredible Spring/Summer Team opportunities!  

We have a proven track-record of helping hockey players move from the recreational to the travel level of play and are excited to continue to help develop athletes this season. 

We offer Pre-Season Clinics in February and March. 

Our season starts in April and continues into July/August.

Last season we hosted pre-season clinics in February and March. Be on the lookout for upcoming schedules. 

These will all feature professional coaching and be limited in size!

We evaluate player development continuously during our pre-season clinics and will build rosters based on readiness we observe for each individual player during these sessions and from prior experience with the players we have trained. 

We expect that 10U players will have at least 2 years of house-level playing experience, 12/14U players will have at least 3 years of playing experience, and 16U players will have 4+ years . Alternatively, if you have coach-approval, your athlete could have less experience, or they may be required to have additional training sessions to be ready for the team on a case-by-case basis despite many years of experience. 

Instead of hosting one evaluation, we will continually evaluate players to ensure we have the most accurate understanding of our athletes' skill sets.  Although we would love for every interested athlete to attend every tournament, due to availability of training/ice time, team size restrictions imposed by tournament regulations, and coach availability, each team that attends a tournament will be limited in capacity to 15 skaters and 2 goalies.

Tuition for the 2024 season was  $1375 per player. This included all tournament fees for 4 tournaments, all ice fees for 12 hour of practices, coaching, and a practice jersey.  Please follow here for upcoming costs for the 2025 season. 

Fully sublimated, personalized jerseys and team socks are an additional cost ($100 per player) if you do not already have a uniform that fits from last season.

Although we do not participate in USA Hockey sanctioned tournaments during the fall and winter, we still have tons of great opportunities for training and play. We  offer elite training through our Hockey Proper partnership. 

Players who are rostered for other USA Hockey teams are eligible to join for these events!

Coach Rocco continues to train athletes daily during coach's ice sessions in the mornings and has many other opportunities for enhancement as well including elite off-ice development sessions. Reach out on hockeyproper.com for more information. 

Looking forward at the 2025 Spring/Summer Team opportunities, we will be fielding teams at the 10U through 18U levels. 

Age Determination will be based on 2024/25 USAH Classifications: 

• 10U - 2015 and younger 
• 12U - 2013 and 2014
• 14U - 2011 and 2012
• 16U - 2009 and 2010
• 18U - 2007 and 2008

As a developmental travel/tournament program, our younger teams primarily be entering tournaments in the "A" and "B" divisions. Our older teams vary from the A-AA level

We typically attend 4 tournaments- 1 local tournament, 2 regional tournaments (within driving distance), and 1 further tournament to which most families fly. All of these tournaments, coaching, and ice fees are included in your team fees!

Yes! We welcome all athletes, and we have both women and men coaching as well at multiple levels of play.
